- Protect riparian areas by camping at least 200 feet from lakes and streams. <br>
/ u( @" W5 x; z$ e  U/ V- Good campsites are found, not made. Altering a site is not necessary. <br>
& O3 C3 a& G. M+ P8 D+ ^4 M# r9 F, U<br>
) D& F3 T- l2 s, x( GIn popular areas: <br>! d% a: f5 O- v: q" n: ^7 Z4 z' X
- Concentrate use on existing trails and campsites. <br>, H5 b1 o8 ?; E! H$ t
- Walk single file in the middle of the trail, even when wet or muddy. <br>2 A$ I7 ]+ J# G) ^# s
- Keep campsites small. Focus activity in areas where vegetation is absent. <br>7 S- f0 k3 Z7 ?

In pristine areas:<br>
* B, m/ {  i  ^9 |! ]6 C/ Z- Disperse use to prevent the creation of campsites and trails. <br>4 p0 \0 l' q% Y1 ~; d3 K
- Avoid places where impacts are just beginning. <br>9 ?/ U4 O+ Y5 [6 z& G

处理废弃物<br>5 Q& p' M& g2 c. O0 p7 W
Dispose of Waste Properly <br>

5 A3 j, ], a9 W- 背进来背出去。检视所经之出,把废弃物、食物残渣及纸屑都带出去。<br>2 f: I- z/ R* _4 t! J1 Z: `$ D
- 置排泄物的小洞必须六至八寸深,离水源、营地及步道至少两百尺。事毕掩埋并掩饰。<br>3 L! Z& r( U1 |0 e5 ?  O2 G- u6 B
- 卫生纸与其他卫生用品带出去。<br>
7 ~% S# F  E5 ?  K6 N- 盥洗或洗碗时,提水到距河或湖两百尺出,少量使用可自然分解的洗洁剂。洗碗水滤渣后分散洒掉。<br>' _* }4 i+ T- M

; t. L: A( u7 h- Pack it in, pack it out. Inspect your campsite and rest areas for trash or spilled foods. Pack out all trash, leftover food, and litter. <br>" x  J1 A$ g2 e4 x, I1 b( A( @) ^
- Deposit solid human waste in catholes dug 6 to 8 inches deep at least 200 feet from water, camp, and trails. Cover and - disguise the cathole when finished. <br>* }, m5 w7 t  t5 L
- Pack out toilet paper and hygiene products. <br>* }3 i4 ]; X& C
- To wash yourself or your dishes, carry water 200 feet away from streams or lakes and use small amounts of biodegradable soap. Scatter strained dishwater. <br>

Minimize Campfire Impacts <br>

- Campfires can cause lasting impacts to the backcountry. Use a lightweight stove for cooking and enjoy a candle lantern for light. <br>
3 Y; [8 j5 F; T- Where fires are permitted, use established fire rings, fire pans, or mound fires. <br>
' Q* O- h% F* |* g7 D/ Y- Keep fires small. Only use sticks from the ground that can be broken by hand. <br>

Respect Wildlife <br>

- 绝不喂食,以免它们的健康受害、摄食习性改变、暴露行藏以及其他危险。<br>

- 管束宠物,否则留它们在家。<br>

- Observe wildlife from a distance. Do not follow or approach them. <br>9 g4 f6 Q8 m$ \1 G4 g
- Never feed animals. Feeding wildlife damages their health, alters natural behaviors, and exposes them to predators and other dangers. <br>
- E' y9 U' v0 F2 {* o* \! L, \8 C4 @- Protect wildlife and your food by storing rations and trash securely. <br>

- Step to the downhill side of the trail when encountering pack stock. <br>8 B& P4 E- `" Y1 Q& @
- Take breaks and camp away from trails and other visitors. <br>
